Pothole, 12th February
Pothole
Nearest road to the pin placed on the map (automatically generated by Bing Maps): Mill House Main Street, Shipton
Report on FixMyStreet
Back in May this year the curb edge white lines and central roadway dashed white lines together with all cats eyes were removed from a long section of the unlit A19 between Skelton and Shipton. Waring signs were put in place advising the cats eyes had been removed ., 30th October
We have now reached the stage were heavy traffic is now using this road in darkness without the basic safety benefits afforded by white lining. The bends and twists in the road do not help and the pressure to maintain commuter speed at peak times makes this section of road feel extremely dangerous. Full beam is not possible with on coming traffic so it is more difficult to judge your position in the road.
