Flood light dazzling drivers, 3rd December
The village pub has a floodlight on the end of the car park which shines directly in the face of drivers passing by at night. This is dangerous.

Dangerous road surface, 12th October
It is not a good idea to fill holes at the side of the road with loose stones - they are flipped out. In the dry it is dangerous, in the wet it may be lethal for a cyclist or a motorcyclist

Road disintegrating, 23rd October
Several complaints have been made regarding this road and none have recieved a response. Will the council please fix this road before any more of the suface comes away. There are large potholes, previous repairs and assorted debris everywhere. Please respond with a date when this is to be repaired.

Proper road repairs, 2nd September
Will the council please repair this road properly instead of patching the patched. There have been so many bodges and patches that the road is completely uneven. The sections need to be removed and replaced rather than further bumps added. This has been going on long enough. Please fix the road properly.

Inadequate road repairs, 11th June
Someon has made the worst possible attempt in repairing the damage previously reported on this site. Peices of ashphalt, some just a few inches across have been put down alongside previous repairs which are uneven. Whole sections of this road need lifting and proper repairs made. Will the council ensure that whoever is responsible for this complete waste of time, effort and money is held to account. Please make proper repairs to this road.

The road here for about 30 yards is disintegrating. It has been patched several times but its finally had it. Can the council please replace this bit if road ompletely.

Just outside the village there is extensive damage to the road and verge with large peices of broken road surface laid across the carriageway.

Large deep trench, 24th March
A further large trench has appeared which is deep and full of large road debris. Further towards Middleton the previously repaired trench has been damaged by another truck and needs attention before it deteriorates.

Series of potholes, 6th March
There are a large number of potholes appearing and the road is sinking and rutting following the bad frost. Previous repairs are damaged. The damage is from the bends at North Dalton to Bainton roadabout. Can the council permenantly repair the road.

Large trench - pothole, 6th March
There is a ver large deep trench at the side of the road presumably casued by lorries. It is deep, dangerous and there are chunks of road laying about and being thrown up. Can this be attended to with a proper permenant fix urgently

Road and verge damage, 4th December
The recently & excellent road repair and the verge has been damaged by what looks like a heavy lorry. Can this be attended to before it gets worse and the council take the matter up with the adjacent quarry who are the likely destination for these vehicles. A wieght limit would be a good idea.

Pointless repair, 5th August
After this was reported via this website a large 'repair' was made which was either so poor that it lasted less than a week - the picture shows its even worse now. Will the highways dept please fix this problem properly once and for all
