Smay Lane Robin hoods bay washout, 13th October
The surface water washout from Smay Lane into Elm Grove has washed away the road surface leading to Elm Grove. As a gesture of good will would the Council infill the voids on the access road immediately next to Smay Lane.
I have raised a separate enquire about the surface water run off here and how it needs to be routed down to the drainage network on B1447 Station Road.
Thanks
Richard Martin

Cinder track from Whitby to Robin Hoods bay is overgrown and dangerous to walker with passing cyclists, 17th July
Because it is so overgrown everyone has to walk down the centre, there’s hardly room to pass when you meet someone travelling in the opposite direction. Particularly dangerous when you encounter cyclists. Please cut it back like you did last year before you have an injury.

Street lighting, 10th October
There are now 3 street lights out of action in this area. One one the junction of Thorpe Green Bank and Kingston Garth, one at the top of Thorpe Green Bank outside the Old Schoolhouse and one further down Sledgates, on the way to the butcher's shop. This is making the whole area very dark and dangerous for both pedestrians and drivers at night.
