There are at least 10 pot holes on this short stretch of road many are getting deeper, we have lived on the road for 4 years and they are gradually getting deeper.

Difficulty crossing the road, 3rd June
To the south of High street, Swinton there exists a children's play area unfortunately the vast majority of the catered to children live to the north of High street, Swinton. High street, Swinton is a very busy 40 mph road which makes it exceedingly dangerous for children to cross the road to access the play area. Something needs to be done before a tragedy occurs.

B1257 footpath from amotherby to winifred farm, not fit for purpose, condition has existed for a considerable time,road also adjacent to this section is showing subsidence, 10th January
This condition has been there for some time. Certainly not fit for people to walk on & in the present circumstances walking is essential for health, so please fix the issues. The footpath from cross roads would benefit from the road sweeper as a lot of hedge cuttings are on the path, this section is ok apart from the cuttings

Huge pothole at the bottom of drive at Emfarlim Worried it will damage my car, 5th January
The pothole has been there for at least six months and is getting bigger. I can always avoid it when getting out of my drive because cars park on the road opposite my drive. Sorry can not send photo do not know how. The suspension on my car will in the future get damaged.

Qworn away white lines, 24th June
B 1257 outside cresswell arms p h white lines are worn away due to traffic cutting corners of slight s bend.
These nedd repainting as a matter of urgency. pehaps double white lines and 40 mph painted on road might be a more practical solution as i have had several near misses with all types of vehicle who do not obey the single white lines !! vehicles are aproaching each other at +40 mph. this is a disaster waiting to happen.!! .

Man Holes Blocked, 15th June
Since the North side of the carriageway has been resurfaced between Broughton and The Blacksmiths Arms in Swinton. The majority of the road drains have been left blocked by excess tarmac resulting in localised flooding in heavy downpours.

This crossroads in the Junction area on the Kirkbymoorside turn has been in a horrible state for the last 8 months, my car has suffered damage needs sorting, or at the very least a sign warning of potholes till repairs are done!

B1257/C20 Amotherby crossroads, 2nd May
I have reported large potholes at the crossroads many times to NYCC but nothing is ever done! the C20 mouth of the Junction is so very rough large sections of tarmac have broken away and a retaining wall Just along the C20 is also falling down! all this along with the fact the white lines are totally worn away makes this section of the C20 through Amotherby very dangerous please sort
