The drain is blocked and flood water from the fields has been flooding the road for teo weeks., 28th December
The road is flooded. This is not a Yorkshire Water problem. I have reported before but nothing has been done.

This section of road is extremely busy and the flood of water is extremely hazardous to motorists not expecting it as it could easily cause aquaplaning.

Blocked river, 13th November
The river is blocked and we can’t find anyway to unblock it from our side (Ebberston hall) we’ve stuck a rod through from the other side and think the blockage is under the path. Who do I contact about this?

Beck backing up at culvert, 10th November
The Ebberston Beck is backing up at the culvert where it crosses from the Chafer Wood side under the road. Probably not helped by what looks like a large lorry going off the road there and lowering the bank between the beck and the road.
This is resulting in the over flow coming down Netherby Dale Lane.
I've tried looking for the inspection hatch that is in the pull in on the Chafer Wood side to see if I could unblock it, but for the moment I can't find it.

Traffic lights, 30th September
Coming into snainton and leaving snainton there is a massive build up of traffic both ends due to the traffic lights both been on red.

Health and safety issue, 7th July
You resurfaced lower Haggside Lane recently and it is now causing run off dowh the church footpath because the storm drain is situated below rather than above the footpath entrance. This is causing the path surface to erode and it has become very uneven.after heavy rain. Elderly people in particular are at considerable risk of falls and injury when attending church, weddings and funerals.

Traffic Speeds, 20th October
Traffic on A170 going through Ebberston (a 40mph zone) seldom slows down entering the zone (especially artic-lorries). This causes challenges to traffic from Main Street, Back Lane and Netherbydale Lane when trying to enter on to the A170 firstly doing so safely and secondly without cause traffic on the A170 to break hard as they haven't slowed down following the speed limit.
This has always been an issue, but is more noticeable since the night closures of the A64.
What can be done to enforce the limit (or slow the traffic down further to make the junctions safe)

First road drain on the left going up netherbydale lane is blocked with water flowing/standing on the road as it drains to drain opposite. Possible ice risk due to standing water come the colder weather

Severe road subsidance about 30 mtrs long and also a large hole near lane, both are very dangerous to vehicles and pedestrians and require urgent attention. Suggest physical inspection and assessment by engineer is carried out ASAP., 1st January
This stretch of road has been deteriorating over the past few year but now requires further assessment before an accident occurs to either pedestrians or vehicles.

Series of potholes and disintegration of road surface for 150 yards, 22nd February
This has been over a period of some six months and is a continuing problem over the years, being reported and patched regularly. Needs urgent inspection to determine action as cars will suffer damage and I know of two people have nearly fallen over during dark hours despite using a torch. I reside in Back Lane and must use this road to get out of the house at least twice daily should my car or any of our family suffer damage I will be taking legal action.

The road surface has worn away leaving a dangerous and muddy pot hole, 14th March
This pothole has been here for over a year and has been reported on several occasions but apparently it has been deemed "no action need". It is an accident waiting to happen!
