Drainage grid loose oposite 32a high street Burniston Scarborough, 10th October
A large drain cover which is marked with a yellow cross,the grid is causing a loud clunking noise 24/7 and is hit by every vehiclle passing from Scarborough to Whitby on the A171, this is now causing myself and nighbours major upset due to nothing being done to rectify the problem despite being reported. please can someone at least look at this problem asap

Roadsign badly obscured by foliage, 15th August
Entering Cloughton from the North (Whitby side), the sign for a left turn to Ravenscar on West Lane on the A171 is nearly totally obscured by overgrown foliage. The turn can be easily missed because of this

Motorcycle hazard, 6th February
Several potholes on the nearside of the road travelling toward Whitby opposite the Blacksmiths Arms. Nearly casued an accident on the 5th of Feb when a student of mine hit one whislt riding his motorcycle.
