Traffic lights on and off, 11th March
You have probably already had many complaints about the Scarborough park and ride traffic lights over the last day or so due to a big pile of mud triggering a sensor. Simple solution...!? turn the lights off or hood the lights it's not rocket science! The park and ride is an absolute waste of space anyway and isn't even used throughout the winter months. Seamer road currently is backed up both ways due to the lights turning red every 30 seconds for no reason whatsoever but a big pile of mud that the sensor is picking up as a car waiting! Baffles me!

Subsiding manhole, 6th March
The manhole is increasingly sinking lower than the road surface. This is unavoidable due to being in the middle of the wheel track of the road.

Street needs roadsweeping, 5th March
Post-winter our street needs sweeping - as it's a tree-lined street there is lots of leaf and twig debris that rots and turns into mud and fills the gutters. It would be great if we could have the road sweapt now that it's spring. Thank you

Pot Holes and very poor road surface, 25th January
West Street Scarborough is used as a "rat run" - the road condition is very poor and dangerous to drive on due to the many holes meaning you hear and feel lots of bangs in the car.
Additionally, when walking at night - and more recently in the snow when the holes where covered it mean trips and falls over these hidden dangers

Uneven pavement surface at steps to Easby Hall, 23rd December
The wearing surface of the pavement is excessively uneven owing to longstanding deterioration at the steps to Easby Hall. As this is immediately adjacent to steps it needs to be perfectly even as otherwise it presents an immediate tripping hazard for the several elderly residents of this apartment complex. Two of these residents are in their mid 80’s and although mobile they are now struggling with the uneven surface especially when carrying their daily shopping. It would be appreciated if this could be prioritised for inspection and repair. I understand there are guidelines for the vertical tolerance across steps to mitigate tripping hazards.
