Uneven pavement surface at steps to Easby Hall, 23rd December
The wearing surface of the pavement is excessively uneven owing to longstanding deterioration at the steps to Easby Hall. As this is immediately adjacent to steps it needs to be perfectly even as otherwise it presents an immediate tripping hazard for the several elderly residents of this apartment complex. Two of these residents are in their mid 80’s and although mobile they are now struggling with the uneven surface especially when carrying their daily shopping. It would be appreciated if this could be prioritised for inspection and repair. I understand there are guidelines for the vertical tolerance across steps to mitigate tripping hazards.
