PIRIE AVENUE - Damage 'Rope' Bridge (still), 13th September
Hi,
Please can I bring to your attention that the bridge on one of the playframes showin this picture have remained unfixed for about 1 year+. This is very said and seems to show a lack of care or ownership for the play area, enjoyed by many of the local children.
Please, please can you look at getting this fixed. Older children have now been pushing sticks and branches through the tempoary pallet boards each end which could be a hazard to smaller children playing on the frame either end.

On-road parking creates safety issue, 20th July
Mass on-road parking in this location causes road safety issue. Design of road ensures that when cars are parked here, other road users must travel 150 yards on the wrong side of the road, around blind corners, to exit the road. Further the width of the road, narrowing from 5m to 4m, creates additional access issues for large vehicles, such as delivery trucks and vans, as well as fire engines, should they need emergency access. The road is too narrow for onroad parking to be safe.

Poor signage on slip road for lanes on upcoming roundabout M5 Southbound, 25th May
When leaving the motorway there is no clear sign about which lane goes in which direction at the roundabout. Standard practice is that the right lane goes right and the left lane would go left or straight on however the limited markings on the road seem to indicate that you can go right in both lanes, although these aren't fully clear either. I have seen several near crashes caused by this with some people choosing to be in the left lane to go right, and others in the right lane thinking they are in the correct lane and nearly merging into the car in the left. I myself have been in both lanes and been honked at various times and the truth of it is I'm not sure who is in the right and who is in the wrong. Could a clear road sign indicating lane usage be erected on the slip road exit, as well as clear marking put on the roundabout

A Fridge Freezer has been left on the side of the road in Farne Avenue. Fridge Freezers are not collected by scrap men and several have been around and have shown no interest. It has been there for a month now.

At this part, the road is too narrow (4m) to support on-road parking without blocking driveways or large vehicles, so workers at local hospital/business park have taken to causing accessibility issues by parking on the pavement. Note that this road only has pavement on one side anyway.

Youths have vandalised fencing at side of duel carriage way causing danger to public and fly tipped rubbish adjacent to duel carriage way. Police asked us to report on this site., 23rd April
The presence of the rubbish has encouraged youths to create a den underneath the footbridge adjacent to duel carriageway, creating significant antisocial and threatening behaviour! Ongoing issue for the past month.
