Pothole around cats eye, 14th April
Large and growing pothole at junction of Broadway Road and Field Lane where it enters estate. Numerous potholes on Broadway Road leading to this one.

Double bend sign not visible, 27th March
Coming down the hill the sign before the bad double bend has been hit by a vehicle and is now leaning in the hedge and cannot be seen until too late. A number of vehicles and bicycles have left the road into the trees even with the sign present, so even more accidents will happen

Public footpath 9 blocked off, 24th March
Willersey footpath 9 has been closed off and diverted presumably by the farmer and there are no footpath signs. He has erected a wire fence with a double strand of barbed wire on top with no stile forcing people to use the path marked track on your map to the disused railway line. This also affects Worcestershire path 523(c) which joins your path at the county boundary and I have reported it to them also.

Loading area with a wooden post used as an ashtray, 18th March
This wooden post, approximately 300 mm square, appears to have a metal dish inside the top. That metal dish is being used by smokers as an ashtray. Whether it was designed gift this purpose is unclear but it is a vile blot on the pristine centre of Broadway. It needs cleaning out at a minimum and probably remodelled to change its use, OR it needs to be cleared every week. .

Road surface appalling, 7th March
Stretch of road beside Blue Cedar Homes Folly View Willersey. Road surface very uneven and needs resurfacing. Worcestershire side of the boundary resurfaced recently and that wasn’t half as bad! Come on Gloucestershire! It’s embarrassing!

Blocking visibility on road/junction (Grass/verge) problem, 27th February
Good afternoon
I spoke to one of your team 3 weeks ago about an issue with the access to my property.
My neighbours at Hillview have been renovating since April 2023. The hedge at the front of the property has been allowed to grow forward. Last summer the hedge met the pavement and the council owned land which was their boundary was obscured.
Since they returned to the property I have again asked that they cut the hedge as it is a risk when I’m leaving my drive that I can’t see clearly and they have cut it back. However it is still a foot at least forward to their fence line.
They have now taken out the fence and I am concerned that when they fence their property in 2 weeks time that they will move their boundary permanently.
I have written to them and today I text them but they have not responded.
Could you please ensure that they do not encroach on the council owned border at the front and so expanding their boundary to the front.
I am concerned that they have obscured my drive and as it is also pavement that there will be an accident.

Varying sizes of potholes., 9th February
Numerous potholes on Campden Lane, Willersey Hill, Willersey.
Also there are numerous potholes on the Cheltenham Road, Stanton, Broadway, towards Grange Farm and Toddington.

All the way down the hill to the leg of mutton bend, drains are blocked., 26th November
From the crossroad with Buckle Street down Campden Lane to below the leg of mutton bend, the drains are blocked with leaves and soil. The water channel is full of large piles of leaves which are spilling onto the road. The water is flowing onto the road and across the bend, and had frozen yesterday, making it treacherous for drivers and walkers alike. Because the water can’t get away down the drains, it is continuing to flow down to the lower part of Campden Lane which is a risk of flooding in heavy rain.

Bad Pothole That has burst many tyre of residents in the Willersey area. Please can someone come out and view this pothole, it needs repairing. This is dangerous to cyclists and motorcyclists.

Health and safety issue above public footpath, 16th November
Blind lane in Willersey is a public footpath. For months I have noticed a plastic owl that has appeared in a tree directly above the public footpath at the fenced stile. Eventually with wind and wear and tear the fixing for this plastic owl will fail with the risk of it falling on a pedestrians head. This footpath is a busy route to the village.

Outside No.31 Field Lane Willersey, Full Fibre dug x3 holes (x2 abandoned after they found gas main), 3rd hole filling up with water, possibly from the adjacent gutter drain, which could lead to other problems if water not drain g away correctly. Residents concerned about this water leakage and will also report to relevant water company

This pole on a grass verge on a junction obscures visibility, 12th November
The pole installed by fibre heroes couldn’t be put in the original permit location as they found an obstruction in the ground and so they moved it closer to the kerb. I understood that poles are not allowed on any grass verges or on junctions detailed by the regulations for the telecommunications furniture on highways. As I approached the junction I didn’t see a cyclist approaching due to the obscured vision caused by this newly installed pole and my A post of my car!

Damaged drain, 12th November
I watched Full Fibre attempting to fit a telegraph pole in Field Lane, Willersey. On their 3rd attempt, they dug down only to find, what they thought was a damaged drain. they continued to dig only for the water to continue filling the hole. They eventually gave up and backfilled the hole, finishing with tarmac and left Field Lane. To the best of my knowledge they did not report the incident.
