Footpath overgrown, leaf and litter strewn, 3rd July

Mon, 03 Jul 2017 17:41:38 +0100
52.110301 -2.083661

This footpath has got a sycamore sapling growing from behind the lamp post. It is now hindering usage, especially for people on mobility scooters or with prams. The pathway has not been swept for months so the leaves from Autumn have accumulated along the edges and now hold weeds and seedlings which are now taking hold. Litter is also caught up and even though I pick up pieces every time I walk down the path, it is becoming very unsightly. The school also has some responsibility for the rubbish problem as I have seen children shove litter through the fence rather than cross the playground and put it in the bin!

Very poor to non-existent pavement all the way from Pershore to Drakes Broughton, 9th May

Tue, 09 May 2017 12:49:28 +0100
52.121427 -2.102562

The footway between Pershore and Drakes Broughton has been in very poor condition for at least 3 years. I run this route and have recently started running with a baby buggy. It is hazardous to run because the only bit of (rough) pavement is right on the edge of the fast road. It only requires a turned ankle to plant someone in the road. Since I have been out with a baby I have to walk this section and the route is so poor I need my all-terrain 3-wheeled buggy.

Danger to litter pickers, 14th September

Wed, 14 Sep 2016 10:39:44 +0100
52.100707 -2.10092

All along the A4104 the length of the Tiddesley Wood area there are overhanging trees and shrubs that force your litter pickers off the grass verges and onto the road while doing their job. Frequently I see them have to step quickly back into a bush or tree to avoid vehicles and lorries. For your workers safety, please ensure these trees and shrubs are cut back regularly so they can walk along the grass verges without fear of being run down by an inattentive driver.
