Street lighting, lack of, in Woodland Close has been reported a number of times by me and others. I was delighted when work was done last Tuesday ( following my report of the previous day). Unfortunately, the light outside of my property has failed to ‘ignite’ despite the old sodium- orange - fitting being replaced by LED. This situation has been ongoing for months. A resolution soonest would be much appreciated.

36 inch x 10 inch pothole and road surface deterioration, 23rd April
36 inch x 10 inch pothole and road surface deterioration causing dangerous situation for vehicles cyclists and pedestrians. The pothole is deep and passing cars are causing significant issues to traffic and damage as debris in the pothole to be flung out at parked cars and pedestrians on the footpath. This pothole has been present for over 3 months and has reported multiple times and yet still no action.

Large deep pothole on Newport Road just before Welcome sign.n, 22nd April
I found this pothole by driving over it. It is dangerous and should be dealt with without delay. As it is marked round I assume it has been identified. It could be particularly dangerous at night to motorcyclists and pushbikes

Blocked drain, 21st April
Over the last 6 months I've noticed this getting worse. It's completely blocked as you can see from the photo. When it rains, it closes one end of the road near the RAF air base

Access to drive restricted due to road sinking., 19th April
The turning circle at the bottom of the cul de sac is badly cracked and access to the driveway is restricted due to the road been lower than the pavement. This has been getting worse for the past two years.

The wall opposite Grangelands has partially collapsed, 17th April
The brick wall in Bowling Green Lane opposite Grangelands has been in a very poor state of repair for years. Now part of the wall has collapsed into the road, but the large stones and debris have been placed against a wall partially blocking the footpath. This is a health and safety issue and needs actioning immediately

Problematic for years. Wall collapsing again. Becomes larger each time. Large oak tree in garden opposite side of the wall appears unmanaged. Very concerning as in a residential area and a busy road. Cars are dodging in a narrow lane

Blocked drain, 16th April
Blocked Drains on Shackerley Lane. This needs clearing ASAP so the water can drain away, currently the water isn't draining away and it is like a ford when it is heavy rain, and this could cause a accident to road users.

Streets lights out, 15th April
Street lighting in Woodland Close - lack of - has been reported to you on several occasions by myself and another. Some weeks ago, a team came out and looked at No 3 light in the close. They assured me that they had been given the wrong info ref this fitting. Before it gave up the ghost, this was an orange light. The workmen had been told differently. We have seen no further evidence of this, and other lights in the close, being attended to. When can we expect to see some action? The Bushfield Estate, of which Woodland Close is part, has a number of lights out. Also it has a motley collection of orange and white lights giving an impression of ‘make do’ rather than a pride in the environment.

This light has been reported as not working previously and was reported as 'fixed' on the 27th March. The engineers did visit, but seemingly 'repaired' streetlight 5 that was already working, despite the location pin and photo showing the correct location.

Large pothole near grange road turning, 14th April
This pothole is very large and very deep, causing drivers to have to steer onto the opposite side of the road to avoid hitting. It has been there for months and other than being circled no effort has been made to repair it.
