Dangerous Parking in Oldbury Wells, 15th May
Vehicles are continually parked on pavement/road on the bend opposite junction with Wells Close and at the point of a Give Way where the road narrows to one lane. This is a serious safety issue for both pedestrians and vehicle (in particular children and coaches accessing the schools). This obstructive parking necessitates vehicles going onto the opposite carriageway and risking collision with traffic coming down the hill on a bend. As many as 6 vehicles have been parked there in the last week.

Worn and ‘invisible’ zebra crossing on Hollybush Road, 14th May
The markings on the zebra crossing are so worn they are barely visible. Approximately 30% of drivers fail to stop at this crossing, daily, with some appearing to be completely oblivious that it’s even there! This needs to be made more visible before there is a serious accident!

Parking in direct contravention of Highway Code rule 243 Parking opposite or within 10 metres of a junction or on a bend. This has been going on for a number of years now. The residents of the new house opposite the entrance to Wells Close are habitual offenders, as are the builders working on the new house on Rose Lane.

Urgent: Overgrown visibility splay, 13th May
The verge/roadside/hedge is over grown with weeds and I can’t see on-coming traffic to exit my driveway. It’s now very dangerous and causing problems, not just for me but visitors and delivery people etc.
