This pothole has been reported. The road is getting worse and worse which is now starting to cause another pothole to form. Customer is wondering if the ground may be falling away underneath. Please fix asap.

12 inch deep pothole right outside driveway and impossible to miss, 5th April
This pothole is deep and impossible to get out of drive without hitting it risking damage to multiple vehicles. It’s been there for several months and requires urgent repair. There is also several others within 50 yards both ways that need urgent repair also.

Important footpath needs clearing of mud & debris, 5th April
Hilton to Worfield Footpath SCC provided a wonderful footpath which up until recently has been used by a 94 year old on his electric bicycle, old people walking their dogs, young people jogging, general walkers to the The Wheel and shop. Now there is going to be a new local Morrisons supermarket, this footpath is even more vital to us not jumping in our cars to get to the shop. In the time of encouraging walking/cycling etc this footpath is vital to our village. It is very badly covered in silt, grass, weeds etc. before the tarmac path disappears altogether would you URGENTLY send out someone to clear it. Thank you.

Changing the signage in Worfield, 4th April
The signage says in the village of Worfield no HGV 'accept access' and the HGV has used a country road and got stuck between 2 old cottages and damages the roofs - police and recovery spent hours rectifying - customer wants the sign to have the accept access removed. Customer called to request that the 'no access' be removed.

Poor Road surface and potholes, 1st April

Previously repaired road has large pot holes, 29th March
A454 at Wyken, WV15 5NN has an issue whereby the road has been dug up previously for some kind of service but the surface has come away, leaving large potholes on the road in both directions. The issue has been about 8 months or so but since the start of 2024 has has worsened rapidly

Rainwater floods the road, 28th March
Road between Roughton Farmhouse and Roughton Field Cottage. Rainwater come down the road from both directions, but the drains and the culvert that goes under the road that drains the rainwater into the field are blocked. This has been reported in the past to the appropriate manager (as suggested by a local councellor) but nothing has been done. I brought this to the attention of council workers to came to the road and they said they would report it also, but no action has been implemented. This will be easily solvable by the drain and culvert being cleared. Thanks

Many Potholes - Roughton, 5th March
My husband reported these potholes over a year ago and nothing has been done. The road has got progressively worse and more dangerous with drivers trying to avoid potholes on a blind bend. At least 2 lots of work have been done on the Barnsley Lane road in the meantime but this one has been ignored.

A large wooden fence, 1st February
This fence began to be erected on Saturday 27th January 2024 and seems to be on the roadside verge, well away from the hedge line. As a Worfield Parish Councillor, I have not seen any planning applications for this.
