Cars stopping on new double yellow lines outside our shop, 11th September
New double yellows and vertical yellow kerb lines were painted on last year outside our shop and opposite, due to the bad parking problem near the main traffic lights in Standish. We are still getting 4-5 vans / cars parking outside our shop every day for 5-10 mins nipping to the other shops in Standish. This area is dangerous, buses can't get passed, traffic is heavy and we cannot see to pull out onto the main shop from behind our shop. We feel that bollards or a metal fence is needed, like the ones on the top of Market Street.

The entire road is a mass of pot holes, 25th July
This road badly needs resurfacing and is now dangerous for motor cycle users especially. As the school next to it is closed for the holidays this would be an ideal time to fix it.

Constant mud on A49 outside old seven stars farm, 22nd February
For many months and throughout winter of 2018/19, the A49 road outside Old Seven Stars Farm has been covered in mud that runs from the farm entrance. The entrance road is on a slope that becomes a torrent of mud in damp weather, and this drains directly on to the A49 Preston Road, Standish. Action is required to fit grids and drains in the farm entrance to prevent this mud running down the slope onto the main road.

Grid in the road is banging loud at night when a car drives over it., 7th October

Car parking on Avondale Street at the Junction of Collingwood Street, 22nd August
Cars parking on either side of the junction with Collingwood Street make it difficult to pull out of Collingwood Street. You have to pull out into the middle of the road. It makes it a blind spot as you can not always see cars/motorcycles coming up the road.
