These ruts force vehicles down to 10mph to avoid sustaining damage. They have been bad for at least 2 years. There are unresolved FixMyStreet reports about this from around that time. Google Street View shows the ruts spreading unchecked from ironworks in the carriageway since May 2014 - that's 10 years ago. Inexplicable why this dangerous stretch, causing vehicles to slow down on a busy road, has not been resurfaced.

Dangerous and illegal parking outside of school, 16th May
Every day cars are parked dangerously and illegally on zig zag lines outside the school including on corners so cutting visibility for drivers. Parents get their children out of the cars - and today a dog- into the road putting children’s lives at risk . People walk onto the road from between cars and cross to and from the school. There is no pedestrian crossing and no “lollipop” service.

This is a reoccurring pot hole that had been filled twice before and sinking again. It's a hazard for my elderly mother on her mobility scooter and any other pedestrians.

The alleyway that runs between Bushey mill lane and pine grove is is desperate need of clearing, there’s lots of overgrown nettles and this path is frequently used by school children and toddlers

Dangerous and illegal parking, 26th April
Cars are parked outside of this school which sits between two sharp bends in the road and the junction s include roads joining at alternate ends. Cars are illegally parked on the zig zag lines outside of the school a s children are being brought out of cars directly into the road. Parents and children are walking between cars into the road. This morning two vans were found three point turns in the road. There is no pedestrian crossing or Lollipop service.

Loose manhole cover noise nuisance with traffic, 25th April
There is a large manhole cover in the centre of the carriageway that is loose. The road sees significant access traffic to and from the High Street. Every time a vehicle's wheels hit the manhole a loud double-bang noise is made as each wheel hits the cover. The noise nuisance starts early in the morning, peaks during during the day and continues in the evening with it being a through route. We have a couple of videos that demonstrate the noise and volume level. This has got a lot worse since last December.

Two Street lights at junction of A41 and Hilfield Lane not working, 17th April
Driving north along the fast A41 road at night and wanting to turn right into Hilfield Lane towards Aldenham, it is impossible to see the turning as it is so dark. There are two street lights, on either side of the turning and both are off. Even though there are lines on the road it is dangerous for drivers behind if one is late to indicate. It is necessary for the street lights to work.
