Another 10"x12" pothole right on the junction of Hall Lane and Penny Lane, left-hand side close to the edge and hedges., 23rd April
This pothole is very close to a blind bend used by oncoming vehicles of all types. Approaching along Hall Lane into Penny Lane the hole is so huge that one has to drive over and onto the opposite lane with a very high potential of crashing into oncoming traffic!! Due to lack of maintenance over many weeks this pothole is an accident waiting to happen.

12"x10" pothole in the area of the curb which has become a distraction to me whilst using this part of the road., 23rd April
I want to report this pothole defect in Hall Lane because it was the cause of my being thrown from my bicycle and causing damage to my rib cage as I hit the ground. This injury is causing me a lot of discomfort and loss of sleep during this time. The pothole is located in Hall Lane, in close proximity to the sandstone house and its gated entrance that is right on the corner junction of Smithy Lane and Hall Lane.

Dog fouling all round the Ditton area!!, 21st April
This is the second time I have reported this issue. Why is the council not bothered about cleaning the pavements of Ditton. I no for a fact that this has not been done for at least two years the dog fouling is horrendous and everywhere we walk every corner we turn there is dog fouling or disgusting small black bags squashed into the pavement or partially hidden behind a street light. This has to stop!! Can someone also tell why the council has a dedicated cleaning of pavements in the Upton Rocks area of Widnes! The pavements in this area seem free of dog fouling and yet in Ditton not one cleaner of pavements

Shop owner littering the pavements, 19th April
A shop owner who is next door to the chemist in Queens avenue at the bottom of stairs seems to think that the pavements are a bin and throws his cigarette butts on the floor outside his shop when there is a bin right opposite his shop. Too far to walk I think but it’s disgusting and disgraceful. This shop owner needs to be told that littering in public carries a fine does it not. There are dozens and dozens of cigarette butts outside his shop and on the concrete stairs next to the chemist.

Cars persistently parked on double yellow, 31st March
This is a persistent problem. Cars park on the double yellows on the approach to the trafic light junction, this then causes the left lane used for going straight on to become blocked until all the trafic in the right lane (used for turning right only) has cleared. I've even witnessed police cars sat in trafic waiting due to these cars parked there, instead of doing there job and sorting the issue

Vehicles parking on double yellow lines, 3rd March
On Hale road coming up towards the traffic lights opposite Dundalk road. There are vehicles parking on broken double yellow lines. These vehicles park right up to the lights which is causing problems with traffic not being able to get through the lights when on green and traffic turning right into Dundalk Road. Problem has been for a very long time now and nothing being done to enforce the issue. Peak times in the morning are a problem.

Dog fouling all around the Ditton area, 25th February
We walk around the Ditton area everyday. From Francis Close down to St Michael’s along Ditchfield Road all the way to Hough green station then along Liverpool Road back down Hale road then home. The pavements in all those areas above are covered in dog fouling and it’s getting worse. It seriously needs cleaning up and fine those responsible.

Speed ramps NOT Speed bumps!, 15th February
I agree with everyone on here about the speeding on Ditchfield road it’s shocking. The speed bumps that were fitted and supposed to slow down speeding vehicles down does nothing of the sort as most modern cars and other vehicles drive straight over them without it effecting there speed at all. I believe the solution would be to remove these speed bumps completely and replace with speed ramps from kerb to kerb like the one on Dundalk road outside the community centre. Something to think about perhaps ??
