Severe erosion of road surface causing vibrations and excess noise when vehicles travel over it. Cheshire West have confirmed that they have no plans to resurface the road despite numerous complaints from several residents over many years.

Incorrect Terminal Sign, 30th December
At the entrance to Hondslough Drive off Delamere Road. There is a 60mph speed limit terminal sign. This should be a white NSL terminal sign.

Large deep pothole by Top Road junction, 24th December
A pothole about 3 feet long and several inches deep in part has appeared in the main road just by the junction.

Large pothole nearly three foot long and over three inch's deep., 3rd March
I was driving towards Frodsham on a dark wet morning on 1st March. First I knew of pothole was when there was big crash through suspension as nearside tyre had hit the hole. I've recently had back surgery and this was significant enough to give shooting pain in back... I checked the tyre and found pothole had caused a bulge and split in side way of a not very old tyre. I will be claiming for two new tyres to keep tread depth and tyre make same on same axle... I have reported on council website but was unable to add photos to show exact location.

Sunken drain cover, 12th August
Just on the inside of the bend is a sunken or broken cover which gave our car a very sharp jolt today

Ashton road, norley, 1st August
Night & day parking both on bend and close to cross road junction causing blind overtaking on bend and hazardous overtaking at bid cross road junction. Spoken to neighbours about it and they say that they do it despite having off-road parking, to slow down traffic to below the 40mph limit there. Contraventions: Highway code rule 242, 243, 249. and RTAsection 22 and RVLR reg 24.

Collapsed drain cover, 31st July
On the westbound lane of the road through Delamere, roughly at the point indicated, is a collapsed drain cover. It has fallen in an inch or more and gave my car a severe knock - a cyclist would fare worse.

Cavity appeared in road - potential to collapse, 12th August
A small hole has a appeared in the tarmac surface on the road between the gates to Home Farm and the row of cottages next door. There is a large cavity below. It is difficuly to see how large, but definitely large enough to collapse if driven over and deep enough to trap or damage a vehicle.

Pothole / Depression, 27th November
Immediately outside the driveways of 1 & 2 The Sedges, Delamere Road there is a pothole/deep depression that heavy traffic catches whilst traveling towards Delamere Forest. Large quarry lorries catch the pothole regularly and vibrations can be felt in both houses. Cyclists travel in the area regularly and have to swerve into middle of road to avoid.
