Fence damaged, 2nd December
M6 northbound, south of Jct 23 to east of Rob Lane. The fencing has fallen over for about 6 sections onto the motorway embankment. Possibly due to the weight of cables strung along it. Nothing to prevent people or animals accessing the motorway. Needs replacing asap.

Illegal car parking, 3rd July
Cars parking on both sides of the highway, blocking the footways on both sides of the road, this happens through the week in the evenings when attending a gym / fitness class from 6pm.
This is a serious safety issue and needs to be stopped immediately.

Check access to gate at span 1, 9th March
From a Network Rail visual exam a recommendation was made to check that the access gate at span 1 is locked and secure as it doesn't appear locked.

Cars/Vans on pavement, 26th January
The offices have a car park at the rear, yet certain vehicles park fully on the pavement (double yellows) obstructing view from Golborne Dale Road. Quite dangerous.

Underneath of bridge is falling off. Bridge that crosses the heritage trail from Rob Lane to newton lake, 24th August
Walking under the bridge we noticed when looking up that some of the underneath of the bridge had fallen off. Another piece fell off into the water as we walked by Don’t know how long it’s been like this

Deep pothole at junction., 12th March
Deep pothole at junction has been here for 1 month. Very dangerous as drivers are focusing on crossing the junction and most cars hit the pothole.

M6 roadworks old hard shoulder in disrepair, 2nd October
The M6 smart motorway roadworks are using the hard shoulder as lane 1. On both sides of the M6 northbound from Warrington and southbound from Maris bridge are of poor quality road surface. A number of areas have potholes grooves in the road or rough road surfaces. Where there isn’t potholes there are potholes developing. These need maintaining so that lane 1 is safe enough to feel confident driving on the lane at the moment feels unsafe and unpredictable.

Small deer, dead, in carriageway, 13th August
Betwee Golborne roundabout and M6 junction of A580, westbound, outside lane. There is a small deer dead in the road, half on the central reservation, head and upper body in the road.

Extra brown bin, 20th July
Hi at the minute i got a brown bin and a small brown bin but still over run with bottles and cans, can you please change the smaller brown to a large brown please as im struggling to recycle every week 17 manor ave golborne

Overhanging Branches, 19th February
In the direction towards A573 as you pass under the bridge there is some quite significant overhang of branches. On first glimpse the branches appear insignificant, but when you get close up and inspect them they are quite thick and have been damaged by passing vehicles already. Some of our buses have had the wing mirror knocked off from these overhangs. The branches are hanging over the carriageway. The bend in the road is a hazard in any case, but with these overhangs it worsens the hazard.
