FIXMYSTREET IN WA16 6TP
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of WA16 6TP:
Woodside Farm Wrenshot Lane, 15th May
I am writing to follow up on a critical issue previously brought to your attention regarding the hazardous conditions on the main road adjacent to Woodside Farm in High Legh.
Despite a single event of a street sweeper being deployed, the problem persists and requires regular attention to ensure the safety and well-being of our community. The continued accumulation of mud, slurry, and animal waste on the road poses a significant risk to both public health and safety. The road remains slippery and difficult to navigate, leading to several accidents, some of which have resulted in minor injuries.
The negligent behavior of the people responsible for the land has not improved, and attempts to address this issue directly have been unsuccessful. This continuous issue exacerbates the danger to our community and the environment.
It is imperative that regular and sustained measures are implemented to address this recurring problem. I urge the council to take immediate and consistent action, such as scheduling frequent cleanings and enforcing stricter regulations to prevent further accidents and potential health hazards.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and to seeing effective measures put in place to ensure the safety of High Legh residents.

Crater in toad, 30th April
There is a crater in the road approximately 1.5metres long, 0.3metres wide and 0.15metres deep. It’s a danger to cars, bikes and pedestrians. This has been reported numerous times before yet Cheshire East Council don’t seem to be capable of fixing this major issue. It makes me wonder what our tax actually gets spent on.
