M56 J5 -7 has an extremely poor road surface. Lane 4 which is the only one to be re-surfaced properly after the smart motorway conversion is the only lane that is safe to drive on. Large pothole around a grid/gulley. It is opposite Magnolia Cottage, castle Mill Lane, Ashley on a bend. Could be disastrous if a cyclist hit it, and cars have to swerve to try and avoid it. It has been there for a while but getting bigger. Someone has put stones in it to try and lessen impact.
