Road is unfit for use, 7th April
Amount of deterioration of tarmac and pot holes from Dunham traffic lights to the top of South Downs road is dangerous. This road needs resurfacing urgently before there is an accident. I nearly burst a tyre driving at 30 yesterday just as the surface is so uneven/pot holes are unavoidable

Multiple potholes in front of school, 19th March
Where cars turn into and exit the Altrincham Prep School there are multiple potholes across both sides of the road. They would present a hazard for kids cycling across this area. Diameter 15-20cm and depth around 10 cm.

Large bump / ramp on bridge join, 6th February

Junction of a56 leading to Bowden roundabout, 24th January
The lane markings approaching the roundabout (from lymm) are not clear relative to which of the 3 lanes to join on the roundabout. There is a near miss here every morning as users join the roundabout from the incorrect lanes (as marked). There are no road signs on the approach to help guide users to the correct lane in advance, and traffic build up means you cannot see the road markings when the lanes are occupied. sat nav lane indications contradict the painted road markings. There are no guide lanes (dashed lines) on to the 3 roundabout lanes, which would help prevent crossover.

Pot holes, 4th January
I have reported this at the beginning of November and nothing has been done it is now getting worse and as a motorcyclist and a car driver these potholes need seeing to I have reported these potholes at this site 3 times over 4 years and all you do is bog them up with tarmac and it just keeps coming out over time why don’t you do a proper job and re-tarmac this part of this road

I have reported the potholes at this site 3 times over 4 years and all you do is bog them up with tarmac and it just keeps coming out over time why don’t you do a proper job and re-tarmac this part of this road

Motorway bridge not level, 21st August
Leaving M56 westbound at J7 heading for A56 Lymm, the link road over the new A556 is out of alignment with the road and is getting worse

Uneven Surface in Lane 1 North Bound, 17th August
The road surface alters in height (extremely badly in Lane 1) when driving North Bound on the Bridge towards Bowdon Roundabout. This issue is very dangerous to motorbikes and also is likely to cause damage vehicles (tyre blow out). This serious issue appears to have been reported multiple times but still hasn't been addressed.

Extremely dangerous roads not respecting cyclists int he road on a school commute, 14th July
Even though there is a 20mph limit - people concertina around these snake bends, don't have any driving ethics or courtesy and me and my son have fallen victim to agressive drivers in the morning anytime between 8 and 915am. Despite doing our best to encourage green living , healthy living whats the point when the whole rd is blocked by lazy parents not knowing how to walk to school or too much in a rush to really care about their fellow man or in this instance an innocent child cycling to school. Drivers don't give space, drive too quickly avoiding lane discpline and good sense driving procedures in an effort to get their own child to school in the safety of usually their 4x4 !
