Dangerous dark footpath under canal bridge, 20th October
Footpath under canal bridge on Barsbank lane is dangerous. It is extremely dark during the day walking under the bridge. At night you can’t see a thing! The path is narrow and quite high so if you can’t see where you are going you are liable to fall off the pavement. There should be a light installed inside the bridge on the wall which is on all the time or at least when it is dark. There should also be a handrail installed. The pavement is covered in mud and water and is slippy even more dangerous in frosty and icey weather.

Culvert under Mag Lane, 20th October
In the last two years you have completely replaced the two culverts running under Mag Lane. The culvert on the South side is now almost totally blocked. I have had drainage rods up from both sides and cannot dislodge whatever is causing the problem . More expertise is needed. Failure to clear will cause erosion and damage the good work you did previously. In the extreme it will flood over the lane
