Traffic Lights out at Rainford Junction Station, 12th August
The traffic lights have not been working all day so far. Ot is a busy junction 4 way lights and single file traffic over the railway bridge. Heavy goods vehicles cross the bridge many times a day and it is very dangerous crossing the bridge with no view of potential oncoming traffic. An engineer needs to attend urgently.

3 areas of about 2ft holes, outside 52, 54 and 56 News Lane Rainford., 14th March
These areas are being hit by 49ft articulated lorries and large heavy tractors from Wilson's Farm, causing vibration to the houses, 52, 54, 56 News Lane. The whole house shakes and doors and windows rattle. We were promised resurfacing - Kendal Drive was done and didn't even need it. The road has been like this for at least a year and got progressively worse.

Flooding, 20th February
The currently fitted bridge is bottle necking the brook and the stream running down the back of the houses is too narrow so causing the brook to back up causing flooding into the houses adjacent.

Public Footpath Obstruction, 4th January
Public Footpath that runs alongside Rainford Health Centre on Higher Lane and leads onto Lakeside Gardens has been blocked off at both ends possibly by a contractor working on the bungalow adjacent to footpath on Higher Lane. Footpath is impassible and is used daily by parents taking children to and from school and by residents accessing health centre from Southerns Lane bridge area.

Danagous parking at a junction, 7th December
Parking at junction on double yellow line at school finish time. Very busy rd at this junction with Pedestrian and traffic at this time of day. Have seen a few near miss accidents between vehicles and school children when crossing at this junction or when vehicles are trying to turn into rd where the parked cars are. Especially if a vehicle is exiting at junction No traffic can turn into this rd due to parked cars. Blatant disrespect for the safety of others and highway code etc.
