I am a BT Openreach enginner and i have had a callout to a fallen tree resting on our cables, this is not down to us and is down to the local authority to sort out, tree is next to BT pole 4 just down the hill past Long Acre on Hollow Lane.

Fly-tipping of domestic rubbish, 11th November
The tipping was done sometime after 1800hrs on 10/11/2014 and 1200hrs on 11/11/2014 at the beginning of Public Footpath No.71, in Bellamour Lane, Colton, at Post Code WS15 3JS.

Lawn mower discarded on verge, 17th October
A lawn mower had been dumped on the verge where there is a road sign on its side (left from when there were road closures fairly recently). It has now been there for several days, and may have been there longer, but I had not walked in the lane for a few weeks.

Potholes on Newlands Lane, 16th April
Reported by our parish council and also myself some 3 months ago. Silt has again washed down the road by the Stockwell Heath sign making it difficult for cars to pass and very dangerous for cyclists. Silt is approx. 8 inches deep in the middle of the road. Also further up Newlands Lane (turning right out of High Street) is a very very large and very long pot hole caused by the local farmer going up the road with his huge muck spreader and pushing the verge into the ditch. This pot hole is approx. 100 metres long, 2 feet wide and 8 inches deep!

Vodka bottles dumped, 20th March
From where I have marked on the map all along the left hand side of the verge leaving Stockwell Heath to the B5013 road there are OVER 40 vodka bottles in the ditch. This is not the first time Its been reported, it reoccurs!

Sunken drain, 4th November
Resurfacings mean the drain cover is now situated somewhat lower than the road surface itself, leading to a substantial pot-hole like feature which is a risk to tyres, suspension and especially to motor-cyclists, located as it is on a sharp bend. The drain cover needs to be raised to the level of the road surface at the earliest opportunity.
