Broken wall with steps effecting walk way, 15th December
The wall has fell apart and since been smashed a little by council but left like this with no way to get up to my flat and shopping will be a nightmare to carry up there. I have arthritis and I have to walked up a grass slope and if wet it’s very dangerous and slippery

Accident spot on crossroads, 18th October
The cross road next to the dog in pub at whittington is such a hazardous junction. Traffic safety measures needs to be put in place before a child or adult is seriously injured or dies.

Significant fly tipping, 6th February
Ove the last two weeks there have been multiple fly tipping incidents here. Old fence panels, building materials, bricks etc.

Parking restriction signs have been removed and people are now parking 24/7 on a blind corner, 22nd January
The parking bays at 46 Main Street Whittington WS14 9JS were put in place as the building was a post office/cafe. Parking was and still should be restricted to 30 minutes. The building has now been converted into flats and the parking restriction signs have been removed by someone other than the council. Cars and vans now park on what is a blind corner 27/7. Not only does this cause traffic problems everyday it is also used by school children and I fear it only a matter of time before there is a serious accident. I and some of my neighbours have reported this to Staffordshire Highways numerous times but as yet have not received a reply.

Cappers lane now almost impassable., 19th December
The Whittington Village end of Cappers Lane is now in such a state as to be almost impassable, with huge holes either side and severe uneveness in surface. Now onle a single lane carriageway at best.

Gravel dumped blocking the footpath, 29th October
Several tons of chippings have been tipped at the side of the road to use for resurfacing work but this is blocking the footpath and spilling into the road, creating a hazard for pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists. It is especially difficult to see the loose chippings when it is dark.

Road narrowing through growth of weeds, 13th July
Over the past 5 years road has narrowed as piles of leaves not cleared, then rotted allowing grass and nettles etc to grow on roadside creating a verge. There are also drains amongst the weeds which will soon be completely blocked by foliage. Also starting to develop alongside church wall but continues down hill to approx no. 35? Hope it can be cleared. Thank you.

Severe potholes on Cappers Lane, 5th April
Numerous, deep potholes have developed along Cappers Lane between the A38 sliproad and the junction with Church Street in Whittington. As the road is unlit, they are difficult to avoid at night, and many are very deep and could easily damage a car. The length of this well used road is in a poor state of repair.
