Potholes/Craters, 19th March
Two very deep potholes on the inside lane of the dual carriageway. Location: as you exit the main A38 at Swinfen and take the A38 London Road heading towards Swinfen Hall/Weeford Interchange. They are between the exit and the layby on the left. Noticed when driving on Mon 18 Mar 24.

Roadmarkings and studs not visible, 8th March
The roadmarkings and studs on the section of A38 from Swinfen RBT to Cappers Lane exit slip are barely visible during the daytime. During hours of darkness nothing can be seen and as the section of road is unlit it is very hazardous especially to motorists who are unfamiliar with the road. There are area's where the centrelines have disappeared all together . They have been in this condition for many years and despite regular closures of the A38 this section of road is never treated to new roadmarkings and studs. The Exit slip was recently partly resurfaced and all road markings were refreshed including part of the mainline. Nothing was done on the section from Swinfen - Cappers Lane while the road was closed. Can you advise on when this defect will be recitified

Pothole and Road Surface, 14th February
Road surface is very badly cracked which has led to multiple potholes and is now subsiding. Even negotiating it at a standstill is dangerous and can cause damage to a vehicle. Location is in the right hand lane as you exit the dual carriageway to get onto the roundabout which either takes you to Lichfield or onto the A38 northbound.

Large amounts of debris and litter all over carriage way and pavement. Please clean this. Looks terrible and is dangerous for pedestrians and drivers alike.

Weed control, 26th June
We are farming landowners neighbouring the A38 and take considerable care and spend huge amounts of money controlling the ragwort on our land. This is important for the livestock and the hay we make. The A38 is overrun with ragwort again and this inevitably spreads on to our land meaning our efforts to control it are futile. Please can you confirm when the ragwort will be sprayed and pulled up this year. It is already in flower so it needs to be done very soon before the seeds spread. I have reported this issue in previous years.

Damaged road surface - A38 southbound from Fradley up to the Weeford island, 29th March
There are numerous large potholes and damaged road surface on the A38 dual carriageway running from Fradley up to the sliproad that exits towards Weeford island. Every day they are deteriorating and they are dangerous to road users. PLEASE GET THEM FIXED!!

Severe deteriation of slip road, 13th February
A38 SB Cappers Lane entry slip. Massive potholes,depressions and cracking at bottom of slip road. Has been like it for months and is being made worse by HS2 traffic . No attempt has been made to repair any of the defects.

Huge pothole covering entrance to A38 slip road, 21st December
This issue has been present a long time now and it’s a hazard to people’s cars. I drive on this very regularly and it has damaged my alloys due to my low profile tyres. This needs addressing as soon as possible ! It’s getting worse !

Overgrown trees at the site encroaching towards telecom site, 28th September
Tree branches have encroached telecom mast due to which Line of sight of the mast may get affected and can cause poor signal coverage in the area, it may also cause physical damage to the mast so would like them to be trimmed back to safe distance from the mast.

Poor visibility from A5206, 5th September
The vegetation in the middle of the Swinfen roundabout needs cutting back to enable traffic entering the island from the A5206 to get a better view of traffic coming round the island. Currently, you don't get much time to see it.
