Inadequate notification of road closure, 21st March
The Southbound A62 at the location on the map is closed with a long diversion in place. From the M62 Westbound there is no notification of this, the dotmatrix signs are showing the times and distances to the next couple of junctions which isn't helpful. The signage should be showing information that the A62 Southbound is closed at Junction 27. The current diversion is to leave the M62 at jnc 27 then divert around a roundabout or two on the A62 and then back onto the motorway at jnc 27 westbound. Down to junc 26 and then back again eastbound to 27 and access the A62.

Cats eyes are less visible than white lines, 16th August
Where the roadworks start on the Eastbound carriageway, there are cats eyes moving the lanes to the left. However the original white lines aren't blacked out properly. This means some drivers are following the cats eyes and some are following the white lines. It's causing near misses.

Central reservation drainage gutters are clogged with debris, 26th July
For several miles of carriageway between M62 jct 26 and jtn 28 in both directions. The concrete drainage gulleys in the central reservation are clogged with multiple piles of road dust and debris. Some piles of dirt more than 40cm high and several metres across now growing weeds. In wet weather the drains are too clogged to cope with water runoff. Causing large puddles to overflow into the fast lane in both directions. A danger to traffic. These gulleys require urgent cleaning.

Lack of signs, 4th June
Approaching from the M621 there are cones filtering traffic from 3 lanes to 1 but there's no change to the speed limit. Surely a 50 limit is appropriate here?
There is a 50 limit approximately 400m after the lanes are reduced but this is a leftover from previous work in the area.
There should also be a NSL sign at the end of this section.

It says this is a 50 but the M62 is a 70 but there are no signs to update you, 21st April
I think the 50 signs have been left out from roadworks when the M62 had roadworks here but they are gone from the M62 bit and is now a 70 but the bit before as the M621 joins still says 50 so you join a 70 carriageway still thinking it’s 50 when everyone on it is doing 70 (the matrix signs above used to say national speed limit but haven’t been on recently
