Clothing bank business run from riverside A&B This Business is bringing 10-30 cars minimum a day 7 days a week from morning until night. Also 2 Clothing bank vans running up and down the street all day moving clothing to near by storage containers. The parking is a problem daily but also this is damaging the grass verges across from the properties causing them to hold water. This is a school road is already busy twice a day with so many young children having to walk onto the roads and between cars we are unsure of how a residential street can have (Business use) we have lived here many years and from what has always been a quiet road is now like a taxi rank.
The property has no off road parking only two road side parking spaces in front of the property to fit two cars the owns have 3 vans and a car already which are moved up and down the street blocking drives and other residents spaces to allow space outside there own property for members of the publics cars and vans to park for unloading throughout the day.
Suggestions ( the Business has grown too big and needs to be moved to a suitable location, a small fence is put in place on the grass verges to stop parking both sides of the road and damaging the verges,

A delivery driver reversed onto our drive and has driven into the lamppost. It's now wonky and the concrete damaged. This isn't the first time this has happened and seems to be an ongoing issue

Cars turning and blind corners RTC, 17th January
Get another RTC at the top of hillside due to cars turning and a blind corner. NYP log NYP-17012024-0177. We need some form of traffic slowing method on the corner as well as no turning signs putting up on the junction. The corner traveling east on Sutton lane needs a Chicane on the westbound lane slowing cars around the corner limiting it to one lane on the corner to minimise more RTCs and help pedestrians on the blind dangerous bend when crossing over from Hillside to West Acres.

Pothole's appeared approx 5 days ago. The area where the pothole's are have been filled on numerous occasions, only to re-appear if we have a significant amount of rain over a number of days/weeks.

Dangerous parking, 15th November
An unknown occupant or occupants of The Anvil apartments, Weeland Road in knottingley is persistently, night and day, parking in a place in front of the apartments which blocks vision of anyone exiting the carpark belonging to the apartments. This is on a very fast and dangerous road as the 30mph limit is never adhered too. This parking also blocks safe vision to pedestrians wishing to cross here. It is the exit of a public footpath and there is also a traffic sign on this area to make people aware that children cross here. This issue has started within the last 3 months and happens daily. I personally have to pull out on to this road in my car and have to cross here as a pedestrian. In both circumstances I have to be out into the road before I can see past these vehicles, there is definitely going to be an accident, which may involve children stepping out to see past these vehicles. The vehicles involved are a white Rangerover, a blue Volkswagon estate and a highways agency Mercedes Sprinter, all of which are large and sometimes two of them are parked together in this dangerous place. They are always completely on the pavement, on the inside of the single yellow line. I would really appreciate your help with this issue.

Manhole cover and surrounding pavement damaged in road, 1st July
Manhole cover and tarmac surround damaged in carraigeway. The manhole looks to have become dsiplaced and may cause an accident if dislodged and struck by a vehicle. Someone has placed a cone over the displaced manhole, but this needs remediating ASAP.
