FIXMYSTREET IN TW3 1PS
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of TW3 1PS:
Northumberland Road, right side of road, 30th April
Number 41 Harewood Road is building some kind of outhouse and have knocked down their garage. The builders have been parking very large trucks and grabbers on the pavement and have cracked and damaged so many paving slabs making it unsafe to walk on the pavement. People are tripping and falling over, my children have fallen over quite a few times now because of the damage and broken paving slabs. Today a grabber turned up, parked completely on the pavement and caused more damage resulting in the builders now putting down sheets of plywood (as per my photo) to cover the damage.

This area us covered in litter and needs to be cleared up. It's really dirty. If the council is not responsible for this exact area, can the owners of this small area be identified and be made responsible for keeping it clean. Thank you again.

The bins on the High Street are full at 11 a.m., 30th April
Other nearby council seem to manage to get their bins emptied and pavements cleared well before 9 a.m. every day, so why can't Hounslow? As soon as these bins become full people just put their rubbish on the pavement. Gives a very negative and off- putting impression of Hounslow's main High Street. Can this be flagged up please? Thank you.

Next to Post Office and Sorting Office Holloway Street, 30th April
This area is filthy- cans, boxes, all manner of rubbish in an area that leads directly onto the pavement. This has clearly accumulated over weeks and is frankly shameful . Can this while area be cleared and cleaned , please? If the Post Office is responsible for the area in the photos can they be alerted to do something urgently, please? Thank you.

By bin under bridge and surrounding pavement, 30th April
The daily tipping continues here. Hounslow Highways cleared up yesterday and 6/ 7 green bags were left for collection. They are still there today ( unfortunately can't see from this photo) and to that have been added food bags etc and the contents are now strewn all over tge pavement and in the gutter. Can all this be cleared up and cleaned asap. It's an eyesore and health and hygiene issue. As this I'd reported here almost daily I can't understand why the council doesn't escalate this and try to resolve tge problem in additional ways- large notices, CCTV cameras, publicising fines which have been issued etc. This has become a chronic problem in Hounslow and must be costing the council and the council tax payers an absolute fortune ! Thank you, Fix My Street.

Tree trimming, 30th April
I have recently been made aware of an individual who was trimming public street trees in a conservation area. He was using power tools without any safety measures in place and did not have any permits to carry this out. The tree being trimmed was outside his property, on a public footpath.
The individual is the resident/owner of the property 54 St Stephens Road, Hounslow, TW3 2BQ. I believe his name is Mr Chaudhary (unsure of spelling).
Below is a link to the video of this taking place on Sunday 7th April 2024 at 4:05pm. Video was obtained from neighbours who wish to remain anonymous.

Please take further action regarding this, as members of the public are not allowed to trim public street trees, especially in a conservation area. Furthermore, this is very dangerous as the individual did not have any safety measures in place for using power tools to cut tree branches in a public place. Street trees should only be trimmed/cut down by trained professionals who have been given authorisation from the council and will do so in safe manner for the public.
