Potholes in Town Yetholm, 17th February
There are a number of potholes that were badly repaired last year, needing re-filled as they have crumbled. The worst area is around the Lees Butcher shop - both sides of the street, including the street lane opposite the shop.

Motorists ignoring Speeding Laws, 5th July
Motorists, particularly large agricultural vehicles are speeding through Yetholm, past a thirty mile per hour sign at speeds of up to and above 50 MPH in our estimation. Over ten households have personally complained to me about excessive speed, danger to themselves, their children, grandchildren and pets. Many have stories of damage and pets being killed in recent years. Yetholm Residents want the speeding laws implemented and properly policed with Offenders being prosecuted. We wish to formally inform the Council of their legal duty of care to us.
