20M deep puddle flooding adjacent gardens, 18th February
Since 1st February, a deep 20M long puddle has been forming on this road. The water is draining into adjacent gardens and causing damage. The council have placed sandbags as a temporary measure but water is still draining around them into private property. The puddle has formed twice in this period, and remains in place for a long time when it does, without additional rainfall. It is there right now and has been for 4 days, with no visible change to the water level. There is a roadside drain under the puddle but there is no visible drainage taking place (see close up photo).

Unfinished do you leave yellownlines, 29th September
When the double yellow lines were painted on Galashiels Road/Hill Terrace/Craigend Road, there was a car parked between the Hill Terrace and Craigend Road junctions. I assume the lines were meant to be continuous here, but as you can see from the photo the car's presence did not allow for this (as the yellow lines do not have an end marker on them, I presume they are unfinished). Will they be either joined up or will a parking space be properly marked out?

Tree/hedge clippings dumped, 10th February
Following a previous complaint that unowned "Land South West Of 1 Hill Terrace Stow Scottish Borders" (see also https://eplanning.scotborders.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=P17EO3NT08G00) has been cordonned off with permission, it is now the case that for some weeks (possibly a couple of months) branches and hedge cliooings have been left on this patch of grass in a poorly disguised attempt to prevent people using it. Could it be removed?

Whose land is this? Can it be roped off like this?, 5th October
There is an area of grass at the top of Hill Terrace in Stow, just at the bottom of the first set of steps leading up to Cockholm Crescent. I am trying to find out who owns this land (is it private or council) as someone has placed plastic tape across it and two 'no dog fouling' signs in a rather aggressive and very ugly fashion (see photo). If it is council land, the unsightly mess needs to be removed!
I know the council is responsible for the grass at the side of the footpath between Hill Terrace and Cockholm Crescent, but I'm not sure about this particularly patch of grass.
Can you help?
