Step has collapsed, 21st June
The first wooden step down to the beach off the green has collapsed. It's a hazard going down to the beach or coming up off it, for people and dogs. My labrador slipped on it yesterday- luckily no harm was done but it could have been a nasty sprain at the very least. Children in particular might not notice the risk

New dwelling house being build large vehicles parking on verge adjacent to A394, 6th April
The large vehicles have been parked on the grass verge for the past two days. They are blocking drivers' view as they exit Pengersick lane. There have already been 'near misses and the Parish Council has received several reports. The Planning Application number is PA22/06941 The address is Land West of Pengerise, Germoe TR20 9AA

Double decker bus hitting unlit bollard & garden fence, 8th March
A night time bus hit the unlit bollard and destroyed a boundary fence tipping the bus and seriously damaging 2 Cars underneath. Amazingly no-one was injured. PLEASE, can we have EFFECTIVE speed control in this 30 mile limit stretch of road from Germoe crossroads to Newtown. Speeding is getting out of hand. Especially morning and evening and when the road has little traffic.

Manhole cover dropped about4-6” below Road surface, 14th March
This seems to be a regular recurring problem. The manhole covers on the eastbound side of the A394 between Rosudgeon and the Coach and Horses pub have again dropped below the road surface leaving a large and dangerous drop of 4-6”. Please could this be made safe and fixed in a more permanent fashion? Thank you.

Potholes along the whole length of the road, 21st November
Byway 47 AKA Greenways is now in such a bad state of disrepair that it is virtually impossible for vehicles to drive down it. An ambulance refused to drive down it recently to assist an elderly lady, she had to be driven to the end of the road. I need to drive down this road every day to go to work.

Severe access problems and unfinished work!, 20th April
Byway 47 was repaired in January but this work was never completed. The temporary road signs are still in place. As this work was never completed it is deteriorating rapidly. We have problems with deliveries daily due to parking at the entrance to this byway. Emergency vehicles would not be able to access Sea Meads Estate from either end as Hendra lane is also often blocked with vehicles. We need the repair finished and yellow lines placed opposite the basketball court to stop people from blocking the entrance to byway 47 & the yellow lines reinstated on Hendra lane.

People are parking opposite the parking spaces by the basketball court. There isn't enough room for emergency vehicles or delivery drivers to get through, they are also parking in the passing places which are necessary as the lane is so narrow., 20th April

Byway 47 was very poor;y repaired in January, the job was never finished & has deteriorated very quickly, the potholes are back.
