Excess of slippy mud on road, 26th September
Mud from building site is on road for a couple of hundred metres on south west direction. In the rain it is extremely slippy. Vehicles easily slide. I am concerned that with the speed of traffic and slippiness of surface there will be a collision. It is dangerous when wet. I recommend speed restriction (in SW direction) and grit to be put on road until resolved. The building site should be responsible.

New traffic lights causing serious traffic problems, 4th July
Today 4/7/23 single lane lights have been installed adjacent to fields where land is being prepared for building. Travelling west the traffic was backed up passed the Heamoor roundabout causing serious tailback towards the Tesco roundabout. No one could turn left at the Heamoor roundabout. We are very concerned about holiday traffic using this road to Lands End and the lights causing tailbacks in both directions. How long are these lights going to be in place? Has this been thought through properly?

Very large pot holes., 14th February
This road is extremely bad and has been for months. Its not just potholes the road is falling apart, it has been reported over 60 times I have that information from a person marking roads for repair. The piece of road needs a proper resurface not just a patch up like last year that lasted less than a month. I is the stretch of road from the chapel to the top of the hill.

Dozens of pot holes, 11th January
There are dozens of pot holes from the entrance to Trelawney Estate down to the corner and right turning toward the Church. This has been prevalent for more than 5 years. We ALL use it every day and though someone seems to tarmac over the holes they make the problem worse by not flattening the bad patching that is done. The rain washes them out every time it rain hard anyway and it becomes a WW1 battlefield. I have had damage to my steering rack because of this..the furthest I drive to is Hayle and i volunteer in Penzance so, I don't travel far. The whole road needs to be redone, properly..we can all suffer a few nights not getting into town the normal way..and the white lines need replacing at the top of the hill.

Speeding cars and vans Main Street Heamoor, 30th November
Vehicles speeding up and down Main street like its a race track. very dangerous . Surely some speed bumps could be used here. Cant put a price on safety

Car continually parks across double yellow lines on pavement. They park just off the bend at Josephs lane cross, this disallows buses, lorrys and other cars to be able to turn this bend safely and correctly. They seem to think that having a blue badge in their window allows them to still park across pavements on double yelow lines, 16th November

Parking on zigzags, 9th November
Parking on zig zags outside of school entrance and blocking junction opposite making it hazardous to other road users and definitely pedestrians. During school drop off and pick up 8.45-9am and 2.45-3.30 pm It’s not just one car it’s lots of cars illegally parked.

Car parked upon the pavement, no way past if you are in a wheelchair or pushing a pram without resorting to heading into the road. Whilst the police say it is not an offence to park on the pavement, it is an offence to drive on it.....didnt know we had flying cars, not quite sure how else it got there?

Grass cittings left on pathment which will block storm drain when rain falls, 15th August
Weeds have been cut from bottom of wall but cuttings have been left on the pavement when rain comes the cuttings will go into the storm drains & block them. This is on Main St, Heamoor, TR18 3ER .The problem is approx 3 days old.

This overgrown footpath has now been cleared and I have to say it’s the best I’ve seen it for years. The work team also cleared up the verge that had recently been left in a bit of a mess. Again thanks for a job well done, sorry didn’t know how to contact you. One question can this be put on a regular maintenance schedule?

Overgrown footpath, 20th July
This well used path runs from Cardinnis road (adjacent 28a) parallel with A30 to path leading to Castle Horneck Road and is now very overgrown with brambles and nettles it needs to be put on a regular maintenance schedule.

Overgrown footpath, 6th July
This path becomes overgrown every year and I have managed to get cormac to clear for some years now but my recent request was dismissed as the reporting officer said there was no problem. I have tried for years to get this put on a maintenance schedule without any luck. It’s well used by young and old who have to battle against brambles and nettles. Please help.
