Mismatch between signs and markings, 22nd February
Road signs say ‘left- hand lane for Paignton, right hand lane for Newton Abbot’
Marking say ‘traffic in left lane may feed in for Newton as they round the bend.’
The result: a fair number of near-misses as people filling the road markings are nearly side-swiped by people following the signage!

Parking in contravention of HC rules 123,243,244 & 247, 10th February
Giant car transporters (delivery to Eden Garage) are daily parked at the junction of Orchard Way & Edginswell Lane, obstructing the footpath/pavement, engine frequently left running with no driver present, and parked over double yellow lines. This has been happening for over 2 years!

Hamelin Way - dumped insulation boards, 21st January
When I drove along the A380 (Hamelin Way) on Saturday there were several pieces of foil faced rigid insulation board s dumped on the side of the road. They were next to a road traffic sign. It looks like they have started to break up.

Fence rails, 16th January
The fence rails at the Lindisfarne Park entrance in Cassiobury Way is in need of repair, at least 2 of the rails are missing. Also still in Cassiobury Way the post and rail fencing is also in need of repair since damaged by contractors cutting back scrubs, the same goes for Brownsbridge Road fencing damaged in the same way.

Street lighting blocked by overhead bushes, 11th January
The entrance to Water Lane is dark and intimidating after sunset. The street lighting is ineffective as there are overhanging trees and bushes preventing the lighting up of the street. The trees overhead need cutting right back.

Some lazy dirtbag has left lots of used full dog poo bags on the wall next to the railings at the rear exit to Rowcroft Hospice on Shiphey .
