Massive deep potholes covered by running water, 27th January
Loads of massive potholes covered by running water right on the bend between the horsebrook junction and the humpback bridge. You can't see them until your right on top of them and it's to late to react or stop.

Oil spillage near river, 17th January
13Jan22, 400l of oil was spilled down a country lane, from Litton cross towards Lydia bridge tq109, fire service attended and sand was spread. We had fierce rain Friday, by afternoon neighbour put sand bags as sludge threatened the descending steps and the nearby river. By evening, sludge had pooled and descended steps to river. EA says they've done their part and now highways.ust do their part! Ridiculous and environmental damage is occurring.

6+ potholes along B3372, 28th February
These potholes were reported on FMS in January 2021 having been some months already. Now getting worse with construction traffic from Fairfield. Also a lot of mud on road.

Increased volume of litter, 19th January
The road is a litter louts dream. You can often see work vans throwing a weeks worth of rubbish from their vans or the odd empty can of coke from a family car, or sometimes a fresh MacDonald’s meal empty wrappers and cartons. CCTV should be installed with fines for the owner of the car. Some people are getting less respectful of the environment, they discard litter without a second thought and don’t care how awful it looks to those living in the area.

Severe litter problem, 18th January
The litter on both sides of the A38 has increased over the past few years.
The highways agency/council has cut away all of the gorse and wildlife coverage but have left all of the residual plastic litter behind.
A litter pick should be instructed to pick up after the idiots who haven’t yet been trained to place their litter into a bin. Community service hours would be appropriate for the task or those who are spending their time in prison/not working, this is a highly effective way of keeping the litter down in other counties, so may be worth consideration here.

Dumpy bags of rubbish fly tipped in the unmetaled lane, 8th April
Fly tipped dumpy bags dumped in the unmeteled/rough lane where the old railway line bridge is. Has been there for a few weeks.
