Road signs and markings not visible, 9th July
I have been marshaling at the festival of endurance event at the junction with the Wheatcheaf pub.
I have noticed a lot of issues with the junction as the road signs / furniture and markings are not clear and so cars coming from hever were thinking the road was straight on for them and was a give way.
On investigation the signs in both directions are obscured by trees.

B2027 double crossing of railway line, 8th February
Although I'm not necessarily advocating for the construction of a new road, has any consideration ever been given to the B2017 being moved north of the railway line at Bough Beech (from TQ4887146872 to TQ4942746827). It would reduce traffic through that part of the village, and reduce the burden on the narrow bridge, tight corners and narrow sharp-turning underpass. There is a public footpath which crosses the railway line and then north and east beyond, this could be partially put on pavement, possibly also a footway link on pavement to the west at TQ4886546878. Just a thought really.

Nearly opposite Godfreys mowers, 31st March
On the left hand side - about 1K yards from the road which turns right to go up to Ide Hill - there is a small tree down which is sticking out to the road. I have smashed two wing mirrors within the last week and several others as I am in the car have said the same thing. Very dangerous especially in the dark and needless to say EXPENSIVE - the fallen tree needs to have the top sawn off to avoid it jutting out. There is the back of someone's wing mirror hung on another tree about 10 ft away - urgent!

Tyres and fridge /freezer dumped yet again, 24th January
Many tyres and fridge /freezer dumped and obstructing road. This happens here in roughly the same area every few months and has been going on for years. They are just getting away with it! When will it end? Same people probably responsible... Find them and jail them, throw away the key!! ??

Large pothole, 17th September
Very large pothole on left side of road as you come round the corner heading towards How Green. Very dangerous for cyclists who come round the corner and can't always move out into the middle of the road to avoid it. Accident happened on Sunday when cyclist was unable to move out of the way of the pothole.
