FIXMYSTREET IN TN5 6AS
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of TN5 6AS:
Damaged Drain for water run off from road now made into sealed drain cover!, 24th April
Road drain was reported as badly damaged(Balaclava lane) .It has now been replaced with just a drain cover, rather than an actual drain. It was the main drainage point for water coming from the main Coulsley wood road(as drains blocked on that road) so now water will flow further down road and there is large risk of erosion to side of road which is already suffering from land slip. 2 other drains down Balaclava lane are of no use as the road was not cambered properly when last laid and water flows away from them. Hope you can help.Thank you .

Deep rutting, 10th April
I’m re-posting my previous report of a few days ago as it has been closed as completed. I agree with another comment that “this issue has NOT been fixed so I don’t know why it says closed. It is a long stretch of single track road from the corner of Stream Farm to the junction to Snape Lane. It is very rutted with compacted gravel at the sides, particularly dangerous for motor bikes and bicycles. It is impossible to drive straight through without scraping the bottom of the car as previously reported.”

Overgrown hedge obstructing the footway, 7th April
The hedge has overgrown the footway and is preventing it from being used, especially by elderly residents and users of mobility scooters and pushchairs. Residents have reported this to the parish council. (Location corner near 79 Queens Cottages) it is so overgrown that it is impossible to walk on the tarmac. The grass/mud is very slippery and there are a lot of elderly people living down here .it has been like this for quite a long time.
