This is a reoccurring issue with this manhole cover. Vehicles travelling over it is causing a pothole which is getting quite large and needs to be repaired ASAP. It is on the A21 southbound outside Table Top farm.

Noisy drain, surround broken, 22nd April
Road resurfaced 2022. Drain cover surrounding material broken away February 2023. Drain cover is completely loose. Very noisy, (knack klack) with vehicles riding over it. Keeping residents awake at night.

A21 Road closed despite signs indicating road works had finished, 22nd April
Along with many other very confused drivers last night (April 21st 2023) we joined a queue at the South end of the A21 Lamberhurst bypass expecting to continue down to Flimwell only to find the road closed. Cones were across the road, and a large illuminated sign stated that the road would be closed overnight ending on April 18th! My husband checked Google maps which showed the road open! On our journey north very early yesterday, I had checked the road sign at Flimwell to ensure the road works overnight had finished. That also said finished on April 18th. Had we know about the closure we could have taken an alternative route home. Adding an extra 40 minutes reroute to what had already been a long day was not appreciated!

Traffic lights causing huge delays, 20th April
We travelled north yesterday (20.4.23) on A21. North of Flimwell we were delayed for 30 minutes in a slow moving queue. The problem was a traffic light near the Bewl Valley entrance, it only allowed 8-10 vehicles through on each change. A van was parked. We returned at about 7.45 pm. The lights were still there but traffic had eased. There was no apparent reason for the traffic lights.
