Overgrown bushes in parking layby, 8th April
Overgrown hedges are making it difficult for residents to park their cars in the parking layby on the main A259 in Icklesham (next to the Robin Hood) just before the Watermill Lane junction. The Parish Council have checked the land registry and it appears the bushes and layby are the responsibility of National Highways.

Massive pothole 12cm deep, over 4 feet in length and 46cm wide!, 24th March
I drove over this pothole not knowing how deep it was going to be as it was full with water and received a puncture to both front and back passenger side. I had no way of avoiding it as another car was passing. I have pictures of all measurements of the hole, AA breakdown report, recipt from tyre shop which cost me £130 and proof that I lost a days wages as I was unable to get to work. Absolutely absurd that this has been left to get so big. Council should be ashamed.

Road leading into Icklesham from Winchelsea (both sides), 19th February
When will this road be getting repaired? More and more potholes, lumps and bumps appearing, car swerving around them to avoid damage I didn’t get a response last time I asked this when reporting this road, I believe the wear and tear on my car from driving over this patch of road where any attempted repair over the last 12 months consisted of multiple poorly filled holes that soon returned once the weather turned, twice a day, 6 days a week led to me spending £600 on suspension repairs over just 3 months, how do I go about claiming for this?
