URGENT pedestrian crossing not working, 22nd February
This is outside Claverham community college and so children are having to cross north trade road with no working pedestrian crossing. Some vehicles are stopping to let children cross and some are not which is making it very dangerous for them. I have tried to report this to the community safety department at Rother district council but they have said this is not there responsibility and signposted me to you which I am deeply unhappy about as I feel that they should have taken this forward. The crossing has been out of action now for over 24 hours.

Grass and dirt covering half of the path, 15th December
Over the years the dirt and grass has slowly covered the path outside the school. This not only is issues with children slipping on the mud going in or out of school but also it’s impossible for wheelchair users to get down due to getting stuck in the mud. There are several wheelchair users who use this path (and all paths in Catsfield) however they all seem grown over which forces us to travel in busy dangerous roads and sometimes on blind bends. The issues run all the way from st lawance church at the top of church road, passed the school, all the way down to the pub, along the main road towards the recreation ground and then down church lane. It’s becoming more and more dangerous especially in the wet weather and something needs to be done. My family looked to see how wide the path actually was and it’s double the size of what you can currently see. If the paths were sorted it would be a lot safer for children and disabled people in the village.
