Dog run over by speeding car, 9th May
Not sure who to report this to but feel I needs to be recorded. The owners of the dog to my knowledge have not reported this but their dog strayed into the road late on Saturday night around 9 till 10 pm whilst they were walking it. It was hit by a speeding car and died on the spot. The car did not stop and we do not have a description of it or the driver. I am reporting this in the hope that the authorities will look in to reducing the speed limit from 60 to 40 mph due to no pavement for the properties fronting the road and the fact that some drivers use this road as test to see how fast they can go.
