Blocked roadside drain, 4th November
Again this drain outside the property is filling up with rain but not draining through, despite the drain further down the road being okay. This is after a morning of rain on 4/11/23. This is at the top of Barnets Hill and floods into the properties as more rain is falling. This is a recurring problem which is looked at but not rectified, causing flooding to properties.

The pot hole is on the carriage way going down the hill in an area used for braking for the hill, the junction and the corner. Causes a lot of impact.

Very deep potholes, 1st January
There are always potholes on this road, primarily caused by heavy lorries. The council made a token effort last year to fill them but completely missed the worst.

Eroded pavement surface, 28th July
Water running from road and accumulating on pavement has eroded surface. A slip and trip hazard. An elderly chap just fell.

Weathered very uneven pavement surface. Where the road has been resurfaced twice now, surface water from the road onto the pavement., 28th July
We’ve reported the issue several times over the last few years and no repair has been made. Water gathers on the pavement and has eroded it. In winter it freezers and is very slippery. The surface has become loose and gravely. Someone came to check the drain and said there wasn’t a problem. It is the raised road surface around the drain and the lower curb at this point that seems to be the issue, not the drain itself. I’ve just had to help up an elderly person whose walking aid got stuck. Thankfully they were ok. It’s a busy path with families walking to school etc.

Deep Pothole, 16th June
Pothole just off of the round about where cars are turning in to the village. Will cause tyre damage to cars & dangerous for bikes. Road material from the hole is in the road.

Dangerous tree, 4th March
There’s a tree that has fallen over in that last storm and it’s leaning against the electric or telephone lines and it looks like it’s only the cable that is holding it up and it looks in danger of falling and that would bring the cable down and also block the road. This is just south of the little mini roundabout about 50th so from the roundabout Needs sorting out ASAP before it comes down

Parking on crossing, 19th May
This is a continuous occurring problem and there is no where else to cross the road in a wheelchair, also the local children use this to cross over and yet they can't! It's a busy lane with cars, lorrys and farm vehicles using it (some cars at a faster speeds than 30mph may I add), it's very inconsiderate and been happening for a long time by the same person. There is plenty of parking elsewhere and yet the same person keeps parking here. It isn't safe for people living in the bungalows to pull out of as its obstructing the view turning left in other vehicle also!

Graffiti, knives and antisocial behaviour, 26th April
Area is being used for large social gatherings, parties, underage drinking & rough sleeping. Temporary structures have been put up for sleeping and serving alcohol (a bar). The area is littered with tools and weapons including axes & Knives. Building covered in graffiti with discarded spray cans littered around.
