Road surface breaking up, 4th November
This area of road tarmac break up has been previously reported but is getting a lot worse . Debris is being thrown up from the breaking road surface and have hit the windows of my house which is close to the road . I have also witnessed a cyclist nearly come off his bike and after speaking with him I advised him I would further report the road surface . The surface tarmac which is breaking up was reinstated after road works some time ago . I ask that this be repaired as soon as possible please as it’s only going to get worse and also dangerous with debris being thrown out when cars pass over it . Thank you in anticipation. Please please arrange for it to be repaired .

Blocked roadside drain, 4th November
Again this drain outside the property is filling up with rain but not draining through, despite the drain further down the road being okay. This is after a morning of rain on 4/11/23. This is at the top of Barnets Hill and floods into the properties as more rain is falling. This is a recurring problem which is looked at but not rectified, causing flooding to properties.

Series of potholes right where tyre wheels would travel along the Lane, 5th June
Potholes have been there and getting bigger over the last six months. Partially due to incomplete repairs breaking up. Not good for weddings and other Services at the Church where up to 200 people are using the road over a short space of time!

Tilted drain trip hazard on pavement, 23rd February
Part of the drain cover has broken/tilted and now stick up from the pedestrian pavement. The drain itself also makes a very loud clunking noice whenever cars and lories pass over it.

Roadside drainage blocked causing flooding of properties, 17th November
During the strong rainfall of 16-Nov 2022 the roadside drains completely filled up and failed to flow through, and rainwater flooded the road and started rising in surrounding gardens, nearly flodding houses. Some houses have been flooded during heavy rainfall events in the past (several times) because of blocked drains and the only way it is solved has always been to flush the drains to remove debris. This needs to be done ASAP, because we still have a long winter ahead and this flooding will happen again if it's not addressed.
