Dangerous Lack of Verge Cutting, 15th May
The verge cutter came round the lanes a couple of days ago and did a very patchy job leaving a stretch of road between warning bollards of a steep drop off the side of the road uncut. Within about a week these warning bollards will be totally lost from view under the parsley growing around them. This needs rectifying asap to avoid another car going down the bank.

2 foot pothole, deep as shown with water bottle picture for context., 14th July
Pothole incredibly deep and dangerous as on main road, near a junction.
This is dangerous and has damaged both of my passenger side tyres.

White paint daubed on road surface, 23rd July
Paint daubed on road surface in order to hide very faint chalked 'Black Lives Matter' slogan (which had almost been washed away by the rain). This matter has also been reported to the local Community Warden, as it constitutes malicious damage.

Still not working!!!!!, 2nd December
Despite having reported this almost a month ago NOTHING has been done about this faulty lighting!!! We are in total darkness here from around 3.30pm - this route is used by pupils from the school to reach their parents cars and it is dangerous!!! Also there are three houses here and residents ALL regularly walk along this road in the pitch black - i did have an email saying it was Ashford Borouhg Councils issue and i am trying also to contact them!!! Buck being passed regularly!!!

Most road drains blocked in Scotton Street and Coldharbour Lane, 22nd November
Most of the road drains are blocked in Scotton Street and Coldharbour Lane Wye Ashford Kent. These were cleaned earlier in the year but mud etc comes down the road from Hastingleigh and quickly blocks them up again. It needs a settling pond to take the debris out of the water, to stop this keep happening.

Drainage system is sinking in road, 8th October
The tarmac around the drain in the road outside Wye College entrance has been patched up (after it has been reported) about twice a year for some time now. But, as seen in these two photos, the whole run of drainage along the HIgh Street is now sinking into the road quite fast. This is Victorian drainage and it can no longer withstand the increasing and heavy traffic running over it. This consists of huge farm vehicles and heavy lorries, double-decker buses, and regular heavy traffic driving along this main road. The drain cover is no longer level and a rapidly increasing amount of the road surface is missing from around it. But all of this is minor compared to the now rapid sinking of the drainage network itself which becomes clearly visible after some rainfall as shown in these photos. Some major work needs to be programmed in before the drainage system itself collapses.

The main sewer cover in the centre of the road outside 32 High Street, Wye is breaking loose again., 18th October
Over the past week the impact from heavy vehicles is causing the tarmac around the sewer cover to break up again. This crumbling surface deteriorates very quickly and it is causing a hazard for cyclists and motorbikes. The loose cover is also very noisy for residents. The same problem has occurred at least three times in the past two years. Previous repairs have been inadequate. The High Street is a bus route, but Wye School coaches will not be running over half term next week.

Lamps not working - cover and bulb have been vandalised, 1st October
Street lughts in Olantigh Road just down from free school are not working again and alos very overgrown!! one of the lamp posts looks as if the lamp has been hit with a catapult or something as bulb is smashed along with the cover!! this is a very dark raod which has no other lighting along it!!! It has been reported before and no action ahs been taken
