Litter picked by volunteers, 7th March
Hi, the remainder of the A26 has now been litter picked by volunteers - litter has been deposited at the roadside in neat piles in hopefully accesssible locations from this point (Horsted Lane junction) southwards through Rose Hill and down as far as the border with Lewes DC territory (south of Kiln Lane). Please could it be collected? There is also one pile sitting on top of 2 fence panels which have been flytipped at the roadside south of Rose Hill, if those could also be removed at the same time it would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Footpath or Bridleway, 27th April
I always thought that the path from the marked spot back up to Harvey’s Lane was a footpath. However, it seems to allow horses along it as part of the TROT scheme. As you can see from my photographs the route is now solid dried mud that is so uneven it would be easy to twist or break an ankle. Can this be permitted or should the landowner be made to put it right?
