ALL drains from Framfield to Ickfield!, 16th April
Travelling from Framfield to Uckfield this morning, I noticed that all drains had been cleared, Unbelievably, all the spoil was put right next to the drain on the left and the right, which will allow it to immediately drain back in or stop water getting to the drain head. This is breathtakingly bad work, It would not have been too hard to move it a little way away from the drain but what they have done has made problems worse not better. We have waited a long time to have these drains cleared and what they have done has done nothing

Large pothole, 15th April
Large pothole, increasing in size daily. Previously advised no action needed! This pothole is close to a junction where school children cross and causes significant difficulty to road users. Appalled that it was previously deemed not suitable for repair as it was blatantly obvious it was going to get bigger and cause problems.

Potholes on grass verge side of road. Very deep with very sharp edges, will tear a tyre.

A series of large deep potholes are on the A22 just before the Co-op shop and back towards Cysleys Farm. Impossible to avoid with cars on the opposite carriageway. Suspension of my car is damaged.

Generally very poor footway down from Post Office to new estate, 15th February
The footway on the Lewes Rd down from Sand Ridge roundabout to the Post office and beyond to the new estate is in very poor condition- particularly past the Post Office on the opposite side of the road. Also by the burnt out house the feet of the Heras Fencing is protruding onto the footway and is a trip hazard. Vegetation here has also narrowed the footway. My 93 year old mother regularly tries to walk from Sand Ridge down to the Post Office and then on to my brothers at the bottom of the hill before the new estate. She uses a walker and finds it very scary as the pavements are in very poor states and she struggles to get her walker along them. As a vulnerable person using a disability aid the state of the pavements is discriminatory in that they are preventing her from safely using them
