Dangerous and blocked stile on footpath, 25th March
This stile is rotten and collapsing. A nail shown in the second photo punctured my boot and nearly my foot. In addition the stile is very overgrown with brambles and blocked with chicken wire. I had to clear this as best I could before climbing through.

Large and dangerous erosion of ground under highway, 22nd February
I reported this a year or so ago but it was not considered bad enough, however you can see from the photos that this has become a much larger issue. Caused by the blockage of road drains on the opposite side of carriageway, thereby forcing massive amounts of water to cross the road and find the path of least resistance. All of the drains on the opposite side of the road carry the road water directly to the river but because these are blocked the water runs over and down the road. I have taken further pictures and videos whilst it is raining to demonstrate the issue…if you need them. This road is now being used by massive lorries due to extensive house building in Crowborough and Jarvis Brook. I fear one of these is going to go into the very deep ditch here before long especially if it meets another coming the other way! Many thanks

Poorly repaired and maintained section of School Lane between St Mark's School and the A272, 25th July
This section of road has not been properly maintained for the entirity of the 27 years that we have lived here. Now the patchwork of pothole fixes are causing serious sleep deprivation from the noise of towed farm trailers pass the local properties between 5am and 6am. It is highly unacceptable that such poor road mainteance is having such a significant impact on peoples health and welfare.

Pothole outside Spire View, 25th July
This pothole has been repaired before but it has again become a pothole adjacent to ironwork. The poor maintenance of this section of road is causing sleep disturbance caused by towed farmers vehicles early in the morning.

You reported that the Steward had a checked a pothole I previously reported at Grange Cottage, Main Road, Hadlow Down, Wealden, East Sussex, England, TN22 4HJ and said it did not need fixing!! I did not report a pothole there. I reported a pothole outside Fir Tree Cottage School Lane TN22 4HY.

Road falling away into drain ( drain recently unblocked), 2nd April
Firstly thank you for unblocking the drain on the road , this has led to massive reduction of the standing water on the road.
Now the work required is to reseat the drain moving it around 15cm higher and replace the road . Currently the water is not draining into the drain rather into the side thus undermining the road and drain cover.
This drain has water flowing into it from field run off up to 2 days after rainfall so the water is consistently to this location and making the issue worse almost constantly.

Whole string of potholes. 10 year issue getting worse again!, 24th March
The problem is that because cars are always parked outside Brinkwells even the road adjacent to the kerbside gets used by cars travelling in both directions. Consequently it regularly breaks up and it is now down to sub road level and is throwing stones into our driveway.
I have reported this many times before but the local road steward says it is not affecting cars! Well that is plainly not true.
