Large deep pot hole filled with water., 20th October

Hedge encroachment, 19th September
Between this section of road and intermittently to Mayfield, there is a lack of hedge management, causing scratching and mirror damage to vehicles whilst passing oncoming traffic, when in normal circumstances there is enough room to pass. The hedges are over the road centre 3 metres above the highway in some places.

Previously repaired tarmac now ripped up causing potholes, 11th May
A long stretch of tarmac was laid poorly sitting on the top of the road. The tarmac has now broken forming multiple potholes which are difficult to avoid without driving in the middle of the road.

Temporary traffic lights not working, 30th April
The lights for these are not working, it’s not clear to see from either end of there is oncoming traffic. Cars waiting in inappropriate places forced other traffic into a large pothole

Deep potholes on Lake Street between A267 and Little Trodgers Lane, 5th April
The potholes are in the centre of the road and it is dangerous trying to avoid hitting them when vans and horses come the other way. There are several dangerous potholes on this road that have been there for months and are getting worse.

Pothole around drain cover, 18th January
This pothole has been here at least 6 weeks. It is right after the bend as you approach Mark Cross. You either have to drive on other side of road if no oncoming traffic or come to a complete stop. It is getting worse and v dangerous as it is just after a bend. For some one who doesn't know it's there there's no option but to drive over and likely caused/will cause further damage to tyres along this road.

Long series of deep water filled potholes, 10th January
These potholes were reported last November on this site and remain unrepaired and a danger to drivers causing multiple punctures to drivers, and endangering lives of road users as you have to cross the centre of the carriageway to avoid them.

Water on road hiding pothole by drain cover, 3rd January
Every time it rains the water builds up across the left hand side of the road when driving from Mark Cross to Wadhurst. With really heavy rain, water builds up on the other side of the road too.
