Overgrown Hedge on north side creating road width narrowing, 5th December

Sun, 05 Dec 2021 14:47:37 +0000
51.084515 0.512795

Hedge on north side overgrown the verge - needs hard cutting back. Vehicles on east bound route pushed out toward west bound side as result. Big issue with larger vehicles and inevitably resulting in road damage at verge on west bound side as west bound vehicles try to accommodate east bound passing vehicles. Also collision H&S risk. Even worse in hours of darkness

Tyre wrecker, 2nd November

Tue, 02 Nov 2021 11:08:31 +0000
51.084515 0.512795

This kerbstone was the cause of damage to my wife's tyre and alloy wheel because of a juggernaut lorry using too much of the road and forcing my wife to move over to avoid the lorry and struck the unseen projecting kerbstone. Serious modification required, or ban juggernauts from using this narrow road.

Pothole at the edge of the road surface, 1st November

Mon, 01 Nov 2021 14:36:37 +0000
51.084499 0.513014

The edge of the road way has erroded leaving a pothole that has damaged my wifes nearside front wheel and tyre when ovoiding an oncoming juggernault going to the Fridays chicken farm on Swattenden Lane. The road is not wide enough at this point for such large vehicles of this size to be able to leave enough room for other traffic. My wife will be claiming for damages done to the vehicle. As the vehicle is used daily we will get the repair done and keep a photographic record.

This east bound section of Swattenden Lane (approximately 100m long) has its passing width affected by the tall hedging of the property to the north which has grown outward over the verge to the highway road edge. This road is used by both domestic and commercial vehicles and is a constant unnecessary pinch point. The hedge needs cutting back to expose a verge section.
